Ultra Sound

So... I FINALLY had my ultrasound today. Sorry no pictures - I don't have a scanner. But they were really cool - we got some of the baby in 3D!!! Way Cool. So we OF COURSE decided to find out what we're haveing and - are you ready - it's a GIRL! WHAWHOOOOOOOO! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited! Piper is going to have a little sister! She is going to have so much fun! And I don't have to buy new bedding - I just LOVE Piper's crib stuff and I can't EVER get enough of pink! So yeah! I think Curtis is excited too. He really wanted a boy but he's excited for another daddy's girl. I told him I would root for a boy next time - I just REALLY wanted a girl this time. Anyway, that's the big news of the month.

I a Big Girl Now!

Piper just got some super cute Big Sister shirts from our bestest of friends! She loves them and thought she was so cool today in her big sister shirt. I wanted to get apicture of her pointing at the big sister writing and have her smiling at the same time but this is all I could get. But she was way excited! Thanks Tiff for the super cute shirts! I Love the Valentine's boxes too! they are just adorable! You are so crafty! Thank you Thank you!
This evening Curtis had a meeting for church so Piper and I decided to play uno attack together. She LOVED pushing the button. And thought it was even cooler when it threw cards out at her.

So you'll never believe what Piper did... I need to preface this story with telling you that I have been thinking we need to start potty training Piper. I was going to wait until AT LEAST 2 until the past events started happening which made me rethink that decision. She has been taking her diapers off recently and staying eeewwwwyyyyy, yuck, icky etc. Well the other day I was cleaning the kitchen and she came in, threw a diaper in the garbage and started to walk away. At first I thought it was a clean diaper that she finds around - puts on her dolly - then thinks their dirty and throws away. not this time. I looked down and saw she had taken her pants off (something she'd never really done before) and then taken her diaper off. Nothin' but bare bunns. So I think - I'll go buy a potty. Well I don't. SO Here's what happens today. I put Piper down for her usual nap. She doesn't go to bed and instead talks (happens occasionally - but I still make her have quiet time). Well then I start hearing EEEwwwyyyy, Yuck, Poop, icky poop - crying. SO I go in there to see her diaperless standing in the corner of her crib holding her blanket for dear life pointing at two adult size poops in the middle of her bed. Fun! I thought for a sec to take a picture of the sight but then decided there are just some things you don't take pictures of - poop is one of them. So Piper has since had a bath and now we are going to the store to buy a potty.

Birthday Fun!

Yesturday was my big 26 Birthday! We had a lot of fun. Piper was such a good little girl all day and was so fun to be around. Piper decided that her diapers are all icky, including the ones she wears, so I decided to go get a potty for her. Curtis called to see if we wanted to get some lunch so we met him at target and had a yummy hot dog before potty shopping. Piper loves the specific target that we went to yesturday because it has big red balls outside of it. Here she is sitting on one of them. Curtis got off work right at 5 ( or at least REALLY close to it) and piled us all in the car to go to Longhorn steak house. It was SOOOOOO good. I had the best steak of my entire life and piper loved her mashed potatoes! Then it was CAKE time! Piper was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about cake!!!!!! She was practically jumping up and down for it. She helped me blow out my "candle" (match -we ran out of candles) and was even better at helping me eat my cake. It was the BEST cake ever - white with raspberry filling!

Piper thought the bow on the present from grandmommy and daddy was the coolest thing ever and loved helping me open the box. I got some new scrapbooking stuff that I am way excited to try out. I can't wait. Piper and I are going to set up a little craft table today or tomorrow and try it all out. Thanks mom and dad!

Dan and MaryAnn sent a fun fun game we cant wait to try out! Piper LOVES cards and thinks she's such a big girl when we let her sit at the table with us (when we're playing games with Donald and Julie) with her own deck. I can't wait to try out the chalk too - thanks MaryAnn!

K - this picture is from this morning. We were eating breakfast and Piper thought it would be so funny to put her feet up. It was pretty cute and she got a kick out of it. Too cute!
