Curtis and I decided VERY last minute to drive up to Virginia for Christmas. I was talking to mom on Tuesday (the got to VA on Saturday) and thought why are we being such bumms! We should suck it up and conquer the dreaded drive so we could see the fam for Christmas!! And we are SOOOOO glad we did. We have had such a blast. We got in late on tuesday night (around 1am) but once we got out of the car Piper was WIDE awake ready to play with grandmommy and granddaddy! After a good night sleep we decided to go to the little diner down the road for breakfast and it was So yummy! 
Nope! we didn't even shower! We were TOO hungry!
After naps and a yummy italian pizza dinner we decided to go down to D.C. to see the Christmas tree and some of the monuments. Grandmommy and Becky quick got Piper a good winter coat and hat while we napped and she looked so cute and LOVED all the attention she was getting for wearing it!
Here we are at the White House tree. It was HUGE and there were TONS of lights!

While were were walking around to see all the trees from each state we found this massive dog. It was the NICEST dog ever and the owner was so nice to let piper pet him and get a picture with him. I think piper was ready to go for a ride on him.
After we got home we had a fun Christmas Eve singing songs and reading/singing (that would be grandmommy) the night before xmas. We had a GREAT night and soon piper was snuggled in her pack n' play awaiting Christmas morning.

What? You came to DC??? Tell us next time and we will hang out!!! (We weren't here over Christmas though anyway so we missed you all the same.) Looks like you guys are having fun!
