Piper and I went on a little drive today with our friends to look a house for sale she was maybe interested in. It ended up being right where we are building so we took a little detour going home to see how things were going.
Yup! That SOLD sign is for us! That's our lot! The got everything ready (footings - I guess) and are supposed to poor concrete tomorrow but it just POURED rain!!!!!!!! So who knows when they'll pour.
I'm SOOOO excited for it to just get going! AND to finally move out of this dumb apt! The neighbors up stairs sound like animals walking around. We just don't get how you can walk THAT loud?!?!?! So it will be so nice to have our own home with no one upstairs making a bunch of ruckas.
After our little outing we stopped at Sonic for yummy treats since it's sooooo HOT! Here's Piper with her very first strawberry slushy and it's all for her! Can you tell she's excited

Ok, first...we are so excited for them to start working on your house too. We kinda feel like we're getting a house along with you guys (even though we aren't, we're just living through you.)Second, could Piper's eyes' be any more blue? They are gorgeous. How did she like her slushy? It's a good thing you got her her own. The first time we shared our Jamba Juice with Ava she would NOT give it back. When we tried to take it away she would yell and reach for the cup. Oh my, we are working on her sharing skills. I'm glad you had a good Monday!
How exciting !! We have a long way to go before we are back in a house :( I don enjoy having friends and kids so close, but I can't wait to have my sweet doggies back!
