More Fun

Piper got to spend a lot of time with her grandmommy and granddaddy while they were here. We took her to the awesome park by us and let her play in the rocks, swing, and slide. Here Piper is Happy.....................................................................................................Not so happy...............

This slide is awesome! It is SOOOO big and we had so much fun testing it out!

We took Grandmommy, Granddaddy, and Becky to the beach and Piper loved to play in the sand. Piper got a little sand in her eyes - sad!

And We're BACK!!!

Ok! Two months late but hey. Here are some pictures from Piper's first birthday!!! We had such a blast! Piper LOVES buterflies and says hi and tries to kiss the butterflies hanging from her ceiling every morning so I thought it would be perfect to make a butterfly cake for her. Here Mom (grandmommy) and I are with our cakes that we slaved away at all afternoon. It was so much fun to do. This is my VERY first attempt at making a "pretty" cake. I think we did a pretty good job.

Time for this party to get started! Piper had her two little friends over and Grandmommy and Granddaddy and Becky to help her celebrate here big day. I ordered pizzas for us all to chow on but accidentally ordered them at the Monks Corner location (20 minutes away!!) so we all had to chill while we waited for the boys to drive all the way up and back to get our dinner. Sorry everyone! My bad! It finally came and we finally ate and it was sooooo yummy. Thanks Papa John's!


We had a grand 'ol time opening presents and Piper's friends were eager to help her learn how to open birthday presents. Piper got a piggy bank from her great gradma "GG" and INSTANTLY wanted to kiss it and love it. It was pretty cute. She LOVED the new shades she got for the beach too and had a hay day showing them off!

Piper wasn't too much into her birthday cake - kindda sad but what can you do. She's a clean baby - doesn't like to get messy and after touching the frosting decided she didn't want anything to do with it - even if it was sugar!

Thanks so much Tiff - the blogg looks GREAT! I was telling Tiffany what happened with my blog (and how I srewed it up big time and then lost all internet so I couldn't fix it) and she, the AMAZING friend that she is, fixed it for me. You're the BEST!! I still don't have internet so I still can't post any pictures - sorry everyone. I'm using the offices comp right now but I plan on getting our own internet "soon". Curtis and I decided to build a house in Summerville so hopefully they'll get started on that in the next month and MAYBE they'll be done by fall! That will be fun. It's getting hot out here, the heat index yesturday was over 100!!! yuck! Oh well, guess we better get used to it. Piper is walking, only about 5 steps at a time - then she topples over. Curtis is still doing an awesome job at work and is loving it. I think that's it going on here. Thanks again Tiffany!

Lame blogg

Ok, so I know this blogg looks WAY lame but I don't get internet anymore and I messed everything up just before our internet went away so... lame, not updated blog! Sorry! I'll get on it once we get internet again. I have some WAY cute pics of piper's birthday and lots of new pics too.

Easter Sunday!

Easter was a blast! Here we are at church Easter morning. I love the dress Grandmommy sent and the bonnet was a great touch!

I found my Easter basket when we got home from church and there were so many fun goodies in it! Grandma and pa Clayton sent me some fun books and Grandmommy and daddy sent me a cute duck and lamb AND an egg that played the chicken dance song!!! We had fun wiggling to it! AND... The Easter bunny brought me a helmet so I can be safe on my bikerides with mom and dad - What a swell bunny.

Here we are partying again Eater night after we had dinner with the neighbors. What a great day we had. I LOVE Easter!

Crocodile DunDette!

Ok so maybe not crocodiles but alligators for sure! After our fun-filled egg hunt mom, dad and I went to the cypress gardens with our friends. It was SOOO much fun! Mom was silly and forgot the camera but luckily our friends had theirs and snaped a few shots of us. The gardens had a BEAUTIFUL swamp that we were able to take a boat ride through. It is such a beautiful place that people actually get married there! Anyway, in the swamp we got to see a few alligators. They were so cool! My favorite was this guy. His name is tripod because he only has 3 legs. oops! must have gotten into a fight.

Here we are being silly. And look, I got to ride a turtle!

Mom's favorite part was the butterfly garden. It's a little building with butterfly plants and tons of butterflies flying around. They come right up to you! Every morning mom and I say hi to the butterflies that hang from my ceiling in my room so i've learned sort of what the word butterfly means. So the butterfly gardens were extra special because I was able to see REAL butterflies up close and personal. I LOVED it!!!!!! Mom would say "butterfly" and I would look around at all of the beautiful butterflies flying around me. It was the neatest experience to put it all together in my little head! Mom LOVED it!

Our last favorit thing was this funny HUGE tortise - Pedro! Isn't he cute! We all thought it was so funny that all the caretakers had to do to keep him pinned up was set up a few posts. He was so big he just couldnt squeeze through them and it was funny to see him try!

My First Easter Egg Hunt!

Saturday was by very first Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun! I met the Easter bunny and got to crawl around the grass looking for eggs filled with CANDY (not that I can eat it - but I sure do love playing with the wrapers!) I Had so much fun. It was great to be out in the sun and to watch all of the other kids around me having fun.

I wasn't too sure about the Easter bunny at first but after a while he started looking more and more like my stuffed bunny so I decided to give him a big snuggle hug! Oh how sweet!
