Crocodile DunDette!

Ok so maybe not crocodiles but alligators for sure! After our fun-filled egg hunt mom, dad and I went to the cypress gardens with our friends. It was SOOO much fun! Mom was silly and forgot the camera but luckily our friends had theirs and snaped a few shots of us. The gardens had a BEAUTIFUL swamp that we were able to take a boat ride through. It is such a beautiful place that people actually get married there! Anyway, in the swamp we got to see a few alligators. They were so cool! My favorite was this guy. His name is tripod because he only has 3 legs. oops! must have gotten into a fight.

Here we are being silly. And look, I got to ride a turtle!

Mom's favorite part was the butterfly garden. It's a little building with butterfly plants and tons of butterflies flying around. They come right up to you! Every morning mom and I say hi to the butterflies that hang from my ceiling in my room so i've learned sort of what the word butterfly means. So the butterfly gardens were extra special because I was able to see REAL butterflies up close and personal. I LOVED it!!!!!! Mom would say "butterfly" and I would look around at all of the beautiful butterflies flying around me. It was the neatest experience to put it all together in my little head! Mom LOVED it!

Our last favorit thing was this funny HUGE tortise - Pedro! Isn't he cute! We all thought it was so funny that all the caretakers had to do to keep him pinned up was set up a few posts. He was so big he just couldnt squeeze through them and it was funny to see him try!

My First Easter Egg Hunt!

Saturday was by very first Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun! I met the Easter bunny and got to crawl around the grass looking for eggs filled with CANDY (not that I can eat it - but I sure do love playing with the wrapers!) I Had so much fun. It was great to be out in the sun and to watch all of the other kids around me having fun.

I wasn't too sure about the Easter bunny at first but after a while he started looking more and more like my stuffed bunny so I decided to give him a big snuggle hug! Oh how sweet!

Fun Filled Saturday!

Mom got a new bike for christmas/birthday and we have had such a BLAST riding around ever since! EVERY weekend we go for a fun filled ride with dad and I just LOVE to have the wind blow in my face while I babble away and play with moms pants. This Saturday Mom, Dad and I found a cool park to ride at and play at. We had so much fun checking out the new paths and seeing all the park had to offer. After our bike ride, Mom and Dad took me to the play ground and i got to swing and play in the rocks AND watch all of the other kids playing (which I love to do). There were so many people there - it was like a great big party! Mom and Dad even took me down the gigantic slide that was the hit of all the kids. We had such a fun time. There's also a fenced in dog park that we went to and watch all of the fun dogs running around and barking. We even saw our neighbors there with their dog Oscar! What a fun Saturday! I was definately ready for a nap when we got home!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Piper's first Valentine's Day was sooo much fun! When Curtis got home from work he took Piper on a bike ride while I ran next to them. Piper thought it was SOOOO funny to reach out to me - then I would grab her hand and she would laugh histarically. And then when we got home there was such a fun valentine's day package waiting for us. Curtis's mom sent some yummy chex mix, treats and a Valentine's book for piper. Oh she had sooo much fun opening that package. She also got two Valentines from her cousins Aubrey and Brook and another from her Aunt Chelsea! After Piper's dinner she got to open mommy and daddy's preseant which she thought was pretty cool. She got THREE books read to her at bed time story time! lucky duck!







Then Piper got ANOTHER treat!!... Grandmommy and Granddaddy sent her ANOTHER Valentine's day package! Wow - what a Loved baby! She loves her new dress and went staight way to that tag - ah the tag - best toy on earth!

Bubbles - Yum!

Bathtime Bubbles! Yum Yum! Piper loves her bath time espesially when dad's there. We had so much fun giving her this bath because she was just splashing away haveing a grand 'ol time! She thought it was so cool to crawl in the water too which I would have love to have posted but it showed a little crack. Not sure how the blogger feels about baby cracks.

Ok, so doesn't she look so much like big cousin Aubrey! Crazy!!














I was looking for something in Piper's toy box and so I dumped the whole thing out. Piper thought it was the greatest thing EVER so we played in the mess for a while and when bed time came I just put her in bed and left her mess (lazy I know). When she woke up I kept hearing a struggling like whine and when I went in to get her this is what I saw. Haha! She was trying to get her toys to play with - how cute is that!


Now - This is the face Piper has been doing for the last month or so. I don't know where she learned it but she would do that face to EVERYONE! Except her eyes were more squinty! She would do it when she met a stranger, when you told her "no", or if you just looked at her wrong. Well that phase has pretty much passed now and she's on to this new surprised face. It's SOOOO hillarious! I love it! Like our neighbor said, she looks like a little old man without his dentures! I guess this picture doesnt do it much justice because when she does it in real life she like sucks her lips in really far - it's just soooo funny. I guess she's just trying out all the new faces she's learning to make.
